Hello to All!

currently I'm investigating in following subjects and need some help:

1. Transforming probability distribution into fuzzy sets

Is it possible to fulfill this transformation directly (how? any
literature?) or is it necessary to transform them first into membership
distributions (resp. possibility theory - dubois/prade) and in a second =
step
into fuzzy sets (e.g. civanlar/trussel).
I have also some problems with the differences between the membership
distribution and the fuzzy sets. Can someone explain me the differences
conceretly? What is the decisive criterion?

2. Measuring the fuzziness of fuzzy sets (trinagular oder trapezoide or =
any
other kind).
