Bytronic International Ltd. announces the launch of their Fuzzy Control
Package (FCP), a complete PC training package designed to take the strain
out of learning fuzzy logic.

Fuzzy Control Package (FCP) is the latest product in the Bytronic range of
technical training systems for the future. By combining Windows based
software with concise tutorials and practical courseware, FCP assists the
user in developing modern fuzzy controllers.

FCP shows you clearly what fuzzy logic has to offer. In a step by step
format the design, development and application of fuzzy controllers
including modern graphical tuning techniques are explored from a practical
perspective. While FCP can be used as a standalone teaching aid though
its library of internal simulations, it can also be used to control real
applications via a PC interface card.

Fuzzy logic is taking the control community by storm. Controllers can now
be developed that make use of human experience and understanding without
the need for rigorous mathematical solutions. By designing simple
controller objectives in if…then… type rules, hand-held camcorder focusing
can be stabilised, vacuum cleaners can adapt and subway trains can run
without hitch. But how do you sort though the baffling array of fuzzy
logic products and high-tech services?

A demonstration version of FCP is currently available from Bytronic
International Ltd., The Courtyard, Reddicap Trading Estate, Sutton
Coldfield, West Midlands, B75 7BU. Tel: 0121-3780613
