Dear Fuzzy-friend,

ERUDIT - the European Network of Excellence for Uncertainty Modeling
and Fuzzy Control is now running succesfully for more than one year. In 1996
there will again be numerous activities in the framework of the Network.

One of these activities is a workshop from May 16 - 17,
1996 in Athens, Greece, which is organised by ERUDIT in co-operation
with the Hellenic Operational Research Society. In the framework of
this workshop there will also be different meetings of the ERUDIT
committees.

Enclosed we are giving you detailed information on the event. Should you
need any further information, please contact us at the ERUDIT
Service-Center or visit our web-page.

Workshop on Fuzzy Modelling and Control

May 16 - 19, 1996

Athens, Greece

Hotel Divani Palace Akropolis

Organizer: ERUDIT - European Network of Excellence in co-operation
with the Hellenic Operational Research Society

General Chairman: Professor Dr. Costas Pappis, University of Piraeus

An important event, addressed mainly to local people, members of the
fuzzy community, will mark next May's ERUDIT meeting in Athens.
The Workshop on Fuzzy Modelling and Control, organised jointly by
ERUDIT and the Hellenic Operational Research Society, will give Greek
and other European researchers and practitioners the opportunity to gather,
present and discuss their work, enhance existing working and friendly
relations and establish new ones.

The event will take place in Athens (Divani Palace Akropolis Hotel)
on May 17. On the previous day, a 3-hours seminar on Applications
of Fuzzy Control will be given by Dr. Jan Jantzen from the Technical
University of Denmark.

For further information and registration for the tutorial or the
workshop (fee: GRD 10,000 for tutorial and GRD 10,000 for workshop),
