Flame off plz, I am trying to find the best group for this.

Can anyone tell me if there is a catchy phrase to sum up this kind of AI
model?

Deterministic controller
/ | \ \
weighted links / | \ \
/ | \ \
selfish selfish selfish etc
sub-process sub-process sub-process

The sub-processes deal with small issues of behaviour (hungry, thirsty
etc) and send requests of varying urgencies for actions to the controller
(go to sleep[weak], wake up[STRONG] etc) which just gives in to the
strongest ones.

The weighting on the links can be used as a geneome for GA breeding.

Now, I am distressed because I don't have a buzzword to describe this
with, and would appreciate any advice as to whether there is any
past/current research using such a model, and if so, where to get
information on it.

Thanks very much in advance,
