A workshop on Fuzzy Logic and its Applications.

Aims of the workshop
The workshop is aimed at bringing together all researchers and
practitioners working in Belgium (and the neighbouring regions) and
active in the fields of fuzzy logic and its applications in a broad
sense. The topics covered by the conference include:
Fuzzy control, Fuzzy image analysis, Classification, Preference
modelling, Fuzzy decision making, Fuzzy optimisation, Fuzzy
reasoning, Fuzzy data bases, Fuzzy systems and hardware,
Neural networks and Genetic algorithms, Possibility theory,
Mathematical aspects of fuzzy sets,...

Structure of the conference
Invited presentations
Distinguished guest speakers including H. BERSINI, J. FODOR and R.
SLOWINSKI, will deliver a one-hour conference in plenary session.

Contributed papers
Contributed papers will be selected and presented in parallel
sessions (two or three sessions simultaneously and half an hour for
each paper).

Call for papers
- Authors are invited to submit abstracts of their proposed
contribution, before February 15, 2000.

- Abstracts (one page, A4 format) should be sent either by mail, in
camera-ready form, or preferably by e-mail (in plain text, Word or
LaTeX) to the address:


Abstracts should include name(s), address(es) and e-mail
address(es) of the author(s) as well as a list of keywords.

- Twenty five minutes will be allocated to each presentation and
five minutes for discussion. Requests for special equipment should
 be notified along with submission of the abstract.

- Authors who would like to have their contribution published in
JORBEL, the Belgian Journal of Operational Research, are invited to
send a full version of their paper before the conference. Such
papers will undergo the usual refereeing process.

receive information about payments and accommodation. This

on March 31-April 1, at the same location.


The registration fee of the EUROFUSE Workshop is 3500 BEF (90 EUR),
