Now that Mardi-Gras is over, New Orleans is preparing for the
next major event: NAFIPS-FLINT 2002--The Joint Conference of
- the North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society (NAFIPS)
http://www.nafips.org
- the Special Interest Group on Fuzzy Logic and the Internet (FLINT)
http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~nikraves/bisc/sig/internet/
The conference will be held on June 27-29 on the campus of Tulane
University.
Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:
* Fuzzy systems / sets / mathematics / control / databases / theory
* Soft computing / neuro-fuzzy systems /genetic algorithms
* Learning systems / data mining / robotics / image processing / pattern
recognition
* Applications and case studies of soft computing
* Fuzzy logic and its applications on the internet
The FLINT workshop and NAFIPS 2002 were combined to allow members
of the fuzzy set and soft computing community to conveniently attend
both (and save money). The registration for NAFIPS 2002 covers all
sessions and events. In addition, the registration has been set at
$245 and inexpensive lodging is available on Tulane's campus to make
this a real bargain.
