Bernhard Pollak holds a master's degree in computer science from the Vienna University of Technology. He worked as a freelance software developer on database applications and did some website development. His education includes also typesetting and printing technologies with special emphasis on lithoghraphy at www.graphische.org, Vienna.

My interests in computer science are directed towards data mining and web information extraction especially regarding visual features. Also cognitive science in conjunction with visual perception and interface usability.
