Personal
I grew up in Vienna and attended the
Amerlinggymnasium where I took my school leaving exam in June 1999. After a very enjoyable and relaxing summer, I started my alternative civilian service on October 4th. After one year of working in a nursing home, I started studying Computer Science in contrast to earlier plans to take courses in theology. Being a committed
Quake 3 Team Fortress Player(Q3F) at that time, my motivation for studying Computer Science derived from my preference for such computer games. Besides spending hours and hours in front of my computer screen, I also discovered my interest in surfing and exploring the Web for "fun" and in decomposing computers and putting them together again. Unfortunately, you can't use either of these two hobbies for a master's degree and so I need more time than I had expected to finish my studies. I hope I'll be done in spring 2008.
