Vienna, June 20 2005 - Prof. Gottlob gives talk about web data extraction technologies at the W3C and Semantic Web meeting in Vienna.

Vienna, September 2004 - DBAI participates in Fit-IT Projects AllRight and NextWrap to explore next generation and generic data extraction technologies.

Amsterdam, KM Europe November 2004: Professor Georg Gottlob gives talk about Lixto technology at the KM Europe, together with Professor Nicola Henze from L3S. The talk is entitled: "Web Data Management powered by Rules and Reasoning in the Semantic Web: Intelligent Solutions for Web-Data Extraction, Management & Accessibility".
Additionally, at the Rewerse booth (EU Village) applications will be demonstrated that make use of the Lixto Software.

ACM SIGMOD/PODS June 2004: Georg Gottlob gives an invited talk at the ACM SIGMOD/PODS 2004 Conference, the leading database conference to be held in Paris this year, on "The Lixto Data Extraction Project: Back and Forth between Theory and Practice".

CeBIT'02, Hannover, Germany - March 13-20 2002 - At this year's CeBIT, several applications created with Lixto Suite are demonstrated. These applications are a joint project of the University of Münster, the Technical University of Vienna, Lixto and Leonardo Computing. Please find us in Hall 11 (Future Parc), Exhibit D 26 (Gemeinschaftsstand Forschungsland Nordrhein-Westfalen). Besides the example applications, we invite you to have a look at the Lixto Suite.

Maebashi City, Japan - October 25, 2001 - Lixto/InfoPipe project to receive "Best Demo Award" at WI/IAT-2001 joint conference on web intelligence and intelligent agent technology. The demo has been selected by an international jury as the winner out of 22 strong competitors. The conference is in cooperation with ACM SIGWEB, SIGCHI, Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence, JSAI SIGFAI, SIGKBS, and IEICE SIGKBSE.
