Ok. I can accept that although I would prefer using comparator with
hysteresis. I agree with Tony and Steve that some liquid control systems
could be very simple to design and implement. On the other hand if you =
are
controlling more then one liquid level and the tanks are connected, the
control system design could benefit from using fuzzy control at both =
design
and implementation level. Further, technical requirements could favor =
fuzzy
based design.
For the example of a T.V. that changes the contrast with respect to the
ambient light conditions using fuzzy rules, I believe that the =
responsible
engineer probably tried to achieve the requirements with some as simple =
as
possible mechanism. Is this mechanism really fuzzy or not I don't know =
but
who does and who cares?
