Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Duties/Job Description:
Depending upon the project, duties may include:
1. Object-oriented system analysis and design: Capturing customer
requirements and object modeling of business rules and processes.
2. Pre-processing and analysis of large amounts of data; examining
suitability for neural network/statistical modeling.
3. Developing neural networks, statistics and expert-systems based
hybrid classification/pattern recognition/inferencing tools; performance

analysis and quantification.
4. Assisting in GUI and database design for implementing the tools.
5. Traveling less than 10%.

Required Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, or related fields. Expertise in statistical data analysis
and pre-processing, neural networks, wavelets, fuzzy logic, and expert
systems. Proficiency in C, C++ or Java, UNIX shell-scripting and
familiarity with Mathematica, MatLab or SAS is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Financial, Pharmaceutical, Energy, or Automobile industry
is a plus. Working knowledge of business rules in banking or familiarity

with molecular biology/biochemistry is desirable. Good communication and

personnel management skills.
