i,

I am doing research in object recognitin using NNs. We plan to buy a ccd

camera for the purpose. It is to be used for taking pictures of the
object (possibly in color) from various angles. These images are
to be used to train the network. The pictures can be of 256x256
resolution.

What sort of ccd camera will be suitable for this?

Can somebody give me a model number with its price (or even a price
range). especially if
somebody is already working with a ccd camera in machine vision.

Mainly I am looking for possible models of cameras which will be most
helpful and an approximate price range. I guess Pulnix cameras are
affordable, but how do they compare with cameras form Sony or Panasonic?

Any pointers on the web where I can get relevant information?

Any other additional information is also appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
