Help with CART-ANFIS

Dear Friends,

I am looking for some help with CART-ANFIS

I am a graduate student at New Mexico State University. I am using the
Fuzzy Toolbox and Matlab.
I want to use Classification and Regression Trees (CART) with ANFIS.
I have many inputs to my ANFIS structure and no clear set of rules. Using
grid partitioning leads to an exponential explosion in rules that my
simulation can not deal with. CART seems like it could be the answer.

I read Dr. Jang's book on Neuro-Fuzzy Computing and he describes the type of
use of CART that I am interested in. He even has a CART algorithm that
generates a CART tree table. But I have not found a way to convert the CART
tree table to a Fuzzy Inference Structure to use as the initial structure
with the Matlab ANFIS routine. I don't understand the format of the table
generated by Jang's CART algorithm.

Does anyone have a CART-ANFIS algorithm or any tools to convert a CART tree
to an ANFIS fuzzy inference structure that I might use or any ideas on here
I might find this information.
Any insight on Dr. Jang's CART table would be very helpful.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Best Regards,
