Hi all,
I am an Honours student in Murdoch University. My research topic is on
using Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (FCM) to build a decision support system tool
(in effect a tool that creates decision support systems). I have
minimal amount of knowledge in Fuzzy Logic after reading Bart Kosko's
Fuzzy Thinking and some Fuzzy logic papers. I then read Kosko's NN and
Fuzzy Systems as well as papers on FCM.

I have a fair bit of understanding in FCM. But I am still confused
about a 2 things:

1. I can't see any fuzziness in FCM.
2. How exactly does FCM come out with a decision. I know that we always
let it swirl around until I find the underlying/repeating pattern but
how useful is the so called underlying pattern?
2. How do I train FCM using Differential Hebbian rule, in terms of which
synapse should I change using the formula when training the FCM?

Anybody care to give me some pointers on the above questions or from
where do I go from here?

Thank you for your time.

Alex
