Professor positions open at University of Vaasa

Faculty of Accounting and Industrial Management

Department of Information Technology and Production Economics

University of Vaasa is starting a MSc (Eng) program project next Fall.
That is why we are now announcing the opening
of the following professor positions:

1) Computer science, especially telecommunications applications

2) Electrical engineering, especially power distribution

3) Automation, especially computational methods in automation
(soft computing, signal processing, control systems,
user interfaces)

A suitable applicant should have a PhD qualification and experience,
both practical and theoretical, in the position related area(s).
The position is filled starting from the 1st of August 1999 and it
will last to the the end of the project (est. duration 3 years).
The teaching languages will be Finnish, Swedish or English.
