Dear Colleagues,

Scott A. Starks and I have been invited to organize a
special interval-related session at
the NASA-sponsored World Automation Congress in June 2000 (see CFP below).
(If there is enough interest, this invited session can be
extended into a mini-symposium.)

Starting from the pioneer work of Professor Turksen in interval-values
fuzzy logic and its applications, interval methods have led to many
exciting applications. This may be a good opportunity to
present interval applications
related to aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, multi-media, etc., and
to present it to a broad audience of practitioners and
theoreticians working in these areas.

If you are interested, please let us know by email ASAP.
We need to submit a session proposal, with 2-page (ASCII)
abstracts of the proposed talks, to the Congress organizers.

Your sincerely

Vladik and Scott
