Fuzzy logic and Information Retrieval

I am doing a research on fuzzy logic techniques used for Information
retrieval in bibliographical databases at libraries.

I want to exam, if information retrieval systems with fuzzy logic and fuzzy
semantic networks implemented, give the end-users a more relevant output
(documents) compared to the output found in traditionel bibliographical
systems, built on boolean logic.

Does anybody know some projects, researches or experiences about fuzzy logic
in conjunction with Information Retrieval (IR)?

Any relevant URL's I will appreciate as well.
