On the Motley Fool web site ( http://www.fool.com ) there are some
postings on their DDA/Foolish 4 and Foolish 8 bulletin boards about the
use of fuzzy sets in analyzing stocks. The examples, however, are about
how to use fuzzy sets in analyzing numeric data to identify promising
companies to invest in, not predicting a specific stock price.

In theory, knowledge discovery/data mining can do what you seek, but the
problem domain (i.e., markets) is variable and would make it very
challenging to implement a winning KD/DM strategy...
