Hello everybody,
I am interested in Sugeno measure normalization procedure. The way I see
it, determination of the lambda is accomplished by finding the zeros of
the corresponding
polynomial and choosing the one that belongs to [-1,inf] (i.e. the
maximal one). In other
words, procedure is rather inefficient, since one must
a) compute all the polynomial coefficients
b) determine all the solutions
to be able to find lambda. Even for the modest polynomial order (>10)
one must rely
on (computationally) expensive numerical methods.
Thanks for your time,
