Fuzzy-neuro research

I am keen on knowing how much work is currently going on in
universities as far as fuzzy logic and neural applications are
concerned. Are there any good american universities, or is most
of it done outside. Also, in what context does most of fuzzy-neuro
research take place (controls, PR/IP, SP, etc). A web search takes
much longer, and youre never sure if it is exhaustive.

Thanks for any comments.
