fuzzy logic project

A project is actually undertaken in the european steel industries. The
main objective is to study the use of artificial intelligence in order
to control the secondary steelmaking practices.

The project is now looking at developing a fuzzy logic model which
should be able to assess certain grades of steel using processing
parameters as inputs and performance parameters as outputs.

The model will be used as a decision support system.

I am currently developing the fuzzy membership functions using data
and human expertises.

I am looking for similar studies in different industries and some
references, literature in this particular area.

I am also very interested in the processes followed to achieve
these kind of fuzzy models.

All your feedbacks will be summarised and posted back to the
mailing list.
