INTELLIGENT DATA ENGINEERING AND LEARNING

We are inviting authors to submit manuscripts to the special sessions
held in IDEAL'98. The goal of IDEAL'98 is to provide a forum for
researchers and engineers from academia and industry to meet and to
exchange ideas on the latest developments in data mining, financial
engineering, knowledge discovery, and learning. This symposium is held
every two years and the two major tracks for this year are Financial
Engineering and Data Mining.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Authors are invited to submit final camera-ready manuscripts written in
English on A4-format paper with one inch margins on all four sides, in
one column format, no more than six pages including figures and
references, single-spaced, in Times-Roman or similar font of 10 points
or larger, and printed on one side of the page only. Each submission
should be accompanied by a cover letter indicating the contacting
author, affiliation, mailing and email addresses, telephone and fax
number, and the title of the special session. Authors are recommended
to use TeX and LaTeX related style files found on the symposium's web
site for submission.

Authors can either submit one camera-ready original and three copies of
the manuscript to IDEAL'98 Secretariat or submit the postscript file
electronically. Fax submission is not acceptable. Detailed submission
information can be found in our web site.

All submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the field based on
quality, clarity, originality, and significance. The final IDEAL'98
proceedings will be an edited book published by Springer-Verlag,
Singapore.
