One such a tool called A-B Flex can be downloaded for free from
http://www.gts.ra.rockwell.com together with user manual in PDF format.

MS Windows hosted 16-bit application.
graphicaly oriented editors of memberhip functions
text oriented rule editor
immediate on-line testing (no "design-compile-test" phases)
mesh plot
completeness checker (finds "holes" in your rulebase)
DDE server
DDE client for MS-Excel
output : (very effecive) code for Matlab (M-function, S-function,
DDE-link between Matlab and A-B Flex as S-function)

C-code generator
