Abstract:

The development of theory and practise in computer vision has now
reached the point that useful real world applications
can be fielded. I shall demonstrate four systems developed here at
Berkeley (a) content-based querying of image databases
(b) realtime video traffic monitoring (c) recovering 3D models for
computer graphics and virtual reality applications, and
(d) vision-based vehicle control.
