Call For Papers

The 5th International Conference on Fuzzy Theory & Technology plans
to organize 2 very special sessions on FOUNDAMENTAL ISSUES ON FUZZY LOGIC.
Recently, there are considerable interests in this very important topic.
Furthermore, excellent research results are beginning to appear!Several
significant papers have already been submitted to the FT&T.For example;

Burhan Turksen,"Fuzzified Laws of Logic,"
Dun-Jun Wang,"Exact Convergences and Fuzzy Inferences,"
Burhan Turksen,"Foundations of Fuzzy Logic:Membership,Truth Tables,
and Normal Forms,"

George Klir also will finish up a paper for the FT&T conference.

Encouraged by the interest of the fuzzy research community,we are
planning two sessions to be chaired by Burhan Turksen and George Klir
respectively.Hopefully,we can schedule these two sessions on the first two
days,to be followed by a panel discussions to be chaired by Lotfi A.Zadeh.
Fred Watkins has agreed to be a panelist, and recommendations are wlecome!

Please feel free to submit your paper/papers directly to George or
Burhan,as long as you send 2 copies to me or Mr.GU.

Finally,INFORMATION SCIENCES JOURNAL will publish a special issue
on the FUNDAMENTAL ISSUES ON FUZZY LOGIC in 1997.

Respectfully Submitted
