Im looking for information on any work that has been undertaken in Fuzzy
Logic and social services. There are two areas of interest. 1) Output
funding models in health, known as Casemix in several countries, is based
on crisp set defitinions and proceedures, modified by prorability
weightings. Services dealing with fuzzy areas, such as homlessness, are
disadvantaged by the crisp set orthodoxy of these tools (fuzzly clients,
fuzzy responses, fuzzy outcomes). 2) Case management software in such
fuzzy client/response/outcome areas is similarly flawed by rigidity.
