Have you registered for DICTA '95 yet?

DICTA '95 is the third biennial national conference of the Australian
Pattern Recognition Society, to be held on the 6th-8th December, 1995,
in Brisbane, Australia. Over 150 delegates are expected to attend, along with
corporations such as SGI, SUN, Matlab, Leica, Parsytec and more. The
conference will concentrate on (but is not limited to) the following
areas:

Computer Vision and Object Recognition
Motion Analysis
Morphology
Medical Imaging
Fuzzy logic and Neural Networks
Image Coding
Machine Vision and Robotics
Enhancement and Restoration
Industrial Applications
Software and Hardware Tools
Classification and Machine Learning

Registration via credit card (Bankcard, Mastercard, Visacard) has been
arranged. Registration costs (in Australian dollars) are:

Non APRS members - $380
APRS members - $330
Students - $180 (includes proceedings)
One day registration - $100
Extra Proceedings - $80
Extra banquet tickets - $50

The invited speakers are Christopher Brown, who will speak on
"Intelligent Control for and by Computer Vision", Ramesh Jain who will
speak on "Visual Information Management", and Janet Aisbett from DSTO.

Johns College at the St. Lucia Campus of the University of Queensland
has been booked as the conference venue. All the accommodation,
seminar rooms, exhibitors stands, and dining facilities will be within
the college grounds.
