Here's my review and request for help.

My background is in Systems Science as a discipline (Washington U. in
St.Louis, USA). From that background I find Kosko's text perfectly
clear. It brings in material and concepts from a wide spectrum of
branches of mathematics... since I am familiar with all of them I do not
see that as a liability. One who is not similarly "cross-trained" at an
M.S. level may not share this experience.

However... I need a text, or other materials, to use in offering a course
to an audience that is presumed to be at the (intermediate) B.S. level.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. An emphasis on applications,
i.e., the engineering design of a fuzzy product, is desired.

Thanks in advance & hello. I am new to the list and am adjunct faculty
at California State University, Northridge, USA.
