    After the success of HealthCom 2001, we are organising
    HealthCom 2002: 4th International Workshop on Enterprise Networking
    and Computing in Health Care Industry

    The fourth International Workshop on Enterprise Networking and
    Computing in Healthcare Industry is a forum that bring together
    clinicians, hospital administrators, software developers, researchers,
    educators, healthcare system vendors, and consultants to discuss
    the recent trends and emerging issues in the development and
    integration of healthcare systems based on a networked computing
    infrastructure, such as the Internet. Healthcom was successfully
    held in Sydney, Australia in 1999 and 2000 and in L'Aquila Italy in
    2001.

    Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

    * Collaborative Healthcare Strategies
    * Remote Patient Care Systems
    * Smart Agents
    * Interoperability of Heterogeneous Health Information Systems
    * Evolving International Standards, such as HL7, XML and GEHR

    * Role of Wireless Mobile Technologies
    * User Experiences with Deployment of Health Informatics Systems

                             Paper Submission

    Prospective authors are requested to electronically submit a one page
    abstract in plain text form (PS or pdf) and the full paper (IEEE format
    and not exceeding 12 pages including all diagrams and references) to the
    workshop secretariat (healthcom2002@loria.fr). Both the abstract and
    the
    full paper must have the names, affiliations and full contact details
    (including email addresses) of all authors. All submitted papers will
    be
    reviewed by International experts in the Program Committee, and
    accepted
    papers will be published in the Workshop Proceedings. Please include in
    the submission the following statement "All necessary clearances for the
    publication of this paper have been obtained".

    * Submission of abstracts and papers: March 1, 2002
    * Notifications of Acceptance mailed: April 1, 2001
    * Camera-ready papers due: April 15, 2001
    * Registration deadline: May 1, 2001

    At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register for the
    event within the registration deadline for the paper to be included in
    the
    proceedings.
