Special Session on Industrial Applications of Neuro-Fuzzy
                Systems: Modeling and Control

IEEE 2002 International Symposium on Intelligent Control, ISIC'02

                    October 27-30, 2002

                Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

    ***********************************************************

ISIC'02 will have a special session on
"INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS OF NEURO-FUZZY SYSTEMS FOR MODELING
AND CONTROL". The objective of the session is to show the new
real-world applications of neuro-fuzzy systems for modeling and control
purposes and skecth the new challenges.

    The following specifics are encouraged:
    - to include the comparison with non-fuzzy methods, e.g., traditional
       methods.
    - to include the results of industrial site experiments, if possible.
    - to make observations towards the advantages and disadvantages/problems
      associated with NF system implementation/application.
    - Possible extensions.

The program will recommend some of the best papers for publication in
a journal to be specified at a later date.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    PAPER FORMATS:
Papers should describe original research (not published elsewhere) and
should not exceed 6 IEEE typical conference proceeding pages (double
column), with single spaced text using a font of 10 points Times New
Roman. The first page of the draft paper should include:
title of the paper, name, affiliation, postal address, E-mail address,
telephone number, and fax number for each author. The first page should
also include the name of the author who will be presenting the paper
(if accepted) and a maximum of 6 keywords. For further details, please
    consult the conference web site.
