    hello;
             I am a doing my ME project on fuzzy neural systems for
    pattern recognition.I undergone through 3-4 IEEE papers and understand
    something about fuzzy membership function.
               Now my problem is how to design a new membership function
    which is suitable for my task.I tried various methods using
    interpolation and some logical operators,but it does not gives me a
    complete convex & normal fuzzy membership function.On the other hand,
    total number of operations required to calculate membership value is
    also found to be large.I am new to this topics andjust started my
    project on character recognition.
    I am thankful if anybody provides me some online addresses relevant to
    my query or explain through e-mail .
                                 Thank you
                                priyadarshan Dhabe
