    The 2001 UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence (UKCI-01)

                       CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

    The 2001 UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence (UKCI-01) will be
    held at the centrally-located Edinburgh-First Conference Centre,
    Edinburgh, UK, from 10th September 2001 till 12th September 2001. The
    workshop is sponsored by EUNITE, the University of Edinburgh and
    Rolls-Royce.

    Papers accepted for presentation cover the following CI topics:
    Theoretical Foundations, Hybrid Systems, Problem-solving Methods, and
    Application Systems. The accepted papers have been refereed by at
    least two reviewers. The workshop will also include three invited
    talks to be given by eminent CI researchers.

    To facilitate exchange of views, the workshop is organised to take
    place in a single track format. Details of the accepted papers and
