Defuzzification

Hello,

I'm new to this group. I read the article located at:

http://www.ednmag.com/ednmag/reg/1995/041395/08column.htm

I did Not understand the singleton defuzzification method. I was hoping
that someone here might be able to tell me how to defuzzify a function
using either or both singleton methods.
