Dear Colleagues

This is an invitation to ISDA2001: Intelligent Systems Design and
Applications 2001
a special technical session/workshop in conjunction with the 2001
International
Conference on Computational Science, 28 - 30 May, at Hilton San Francisco, USA.

For detailed information for the conference, please visit our web site:
http://www-mugc.cc.monash.edu.au/~abrahamp/isda2001.html

The deadline for submission of papers for ISDA 2001 is 19 January, 2001. If
you need
extension for few days, please let us know in advance--we will try to
accommodate
such requests. The call for paper is enclosed and we hope you will consider
ISDA 2001
for presenting your research work. Please note that we are also encouraging
the
presentation of work-in-progress.

All accepted papers will be published in the Springer Verlag LNCS-series.

Paper Submission
We invite you to submit a:

Full paper of 6 to 10 pages (Letter or A4 paper) for oral presentation
Short paper of 2 to 4 pages (Letter or A4 paper) for poster presentation

The submitted paper must be camera-ready and formatted according to the
instructions of LNCS . Please follow the ICCS'01 guidelines for more
information on
submission. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the
authors to
register and present the paper.

Please include a cover page which lists the following:
* title of the paper
* name, affiliation, address and e-mail address of each author
* name of the presenting author
* name of the corresponding author
* a maximum of 5 keywords

All full papers are to be submitted in PDF, postscript or MS word version
electronically to ajith.abraham@infotech.monash.edu.au. Hard copies
should be sent only if electronic submission is not possible. All papers
will be peer reviewed by two independent referees and published in the
proceedings of the conference by Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer
