Hi,

I am working on a model that uses both fuzzy arithmetic and fuzzy
inference systems (fuzzy rule-based system). My fuzzy inference systems
was built to model systems that normally have crisp inputs. However, I
know that the inputs to the system are really inexact or imprecise. My
question is:

Are there any papers published where a method of doing this is
described?

I have come up with my own method that seems to work empirically, but I
would like to know if I must prove it myself. Any help or suggestions
would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Howard
