BISC SIG in Philosophy of Soft Computing

The goal of Soft Computing (SC) is to mimic human linguistic reasoning. It
follows that we should apply the methods of the Human Sciences.
However, SC still lacks deep philosophical examinations on this area,
particularly those of related to philosophy of science, ethics and social
philosophy. The following problems will be considered in the light of SC:
(i) The human insights and mental pictures.
(ii) Counterfactual conditionals.
(iii) Dispositions of human behaviour.
(iv) Explanation (causality and teleology).
