Dear Colleague,

It is our pleasure to invite you to contribute to a

SPECIAL ISSUE of the EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF OPERATIONAL RESEARCH
                                                        on
Fuzzy Logic in Scheduling and Planning

In agreement with the Editors of EJOR and the coordinators of EUROFUSE, we
decided to organize a special issue of EJOR on the topic of Fuzzy Logic in
Scheduling, Planning, ... Some of the papers will be provided by the
participants of the last workshop of EUROFUSE on Fuzzy Sets in Scheduling
and Planning. However, this issue is open to any author working in this
field.

The topic of this special issue is thus the use of fuzzy sets in scheduling
and planning, and related domains. Theoretical papers or applications are
welcome ...

The due-date (as crisp as possible !) for submitting is July 1, 2000.

All the papers will follow the usual refereeing process of EJOR. And
we hope that the issue will be completed (after refereeing, ... )
around June 2001.
