There are so many way how to make the fuzzy controller to be
adaptive.
One simple technique is by adjusting (online) the membership function
(say triangular) parameters of the controller input variables. In
this case you can start by "any" initial value of parameters.
If you have too many input variables you can modify the structure into
multi-layer one.
