    2nd International Workshop
    NEW MODELS OF BUSINESS: MANAGERIAL ASPECTS AND ENABLING TECHNOLOGY

    June 26-28, 2002

    The Workshop will be organized by the School of Management in cooperation
    with the Information Technology Institute at St.Petersburg State University,
    Russia.

    The purpose of the Workshop is to provide a forum for participants from
    academia, government, and industry involved in research and practice in the
    area of business processes transformation based on advanced information
    technology. The invited lectures and contributed presentations are expected
    to cover a wide range of topics from managerial aspects of the development
    and implementation of new business models to recent advances in related
    information technology. Conference presentations in the case study format
    are also solicited.

    DEADLINES

    Submission of draft papers: March 15, 2002
    Notification of acceptance: April 15, 2002
    Camera-ready papers: May 15, 2002

    PROCEEDINGS

    The Workshop Proceedings will be available at the conference.

    INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

    The manuscripts submitted must be in English. The authors should use MS Word
    for typesetting the manuscript. Please avoid using many customized
    (user-defined) formatting styles. If your paper needs additional formatting,
    use standard MS Word styles.

    The paper should contain not more than 8 pages, and include: Title, Authors
    Names, Affiliation, Abstract with at most 5 keywords, and References. Please
    use the footnote to indicate authors' postal addresses, e-mail and URL, and
    acknowledgements.

    Please use A4 (210 x 297 mm) format with the margins of 5 cm from top and
    bottom, and 3.3 cm from left and right. Use Times New Roman, 11 pt, as the
    font for the main text, with single line spacing within paragraphs, and
    spacing of 3 pt before and after paragraphs. The text should be justified.
    Do not use paragraph indentation.

    All headings should be left justified. The first letter of each word with
    more than 3 characters in the title and headings should be typed in capital.

    Pictures and graphs should be embedded into the MS Word document, and
    centered between margins. Do not wrap text around pictures or tables. Since
    the manuscripts will be reproduced in black and white, please use only
    gray-scaled color schemes for pictures, graphs and tables.

    The figures and tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic
    numerals. Related captions should be placed at the bottom of the figures and
    tables, centered between margins. Please use the standard MS Word caption
    and reference formats.

    Please use MS Equation when typesetting both equations and mathematical
    symbols within the text. The equations should be centered. Numbering of
    equations is at the right margin.

    Reference in the text to an author (surname of the author, year of
    publication, pages eventually). Examples: (Smith, 1999) and (Baker et al,
    1990). More than one references: (Smith, 1999, 2000; Baker, 2000).

    TRAVEL INFORMATION/ ACCOMMODATION

    The accommodation will be arranged in a hotel in the center of city, not far
    from the conference location. Further details will be available soon.

    REGISTRATION FEE

    The registration fee will cover a copy of the Conference Proceedings, coffee
    breaks, lunches, and the Conference Dinner.

    Advance Registration Fee

    The advance registration fee for the Workshop participants is USD160. The
    advance registration fee for the accompanying persons is USD90.

    Registration Fee at the Meeting

    The registration fee for the participants at the meeting is USD180. The
    registration fee for the accompanying persons at the meeting is USD100.

    PAYMENT METHOD

    The Registration Fee must be paid either in US Dollars or Roubles. Payment
    at the meeting can be made in Roubles only. Further payment details will be
