    Objectives

    ICSCCW – 2001 aims to bring together researchers from academic and industrial
    institutions to discuss new developments and results in the
    field of Soft Computing and Computing with Words. This conference emphasizes the
    application of these methodologies in System Analysis,
    Decision and Control.

    The Topics of the Conference

    Papers describing original work in, but not limited to, the following research
    areas
    are invited:

        1. Soft Computing (SC) theory
        2. Synergistic Combinations of SC
        3. SC tools
        4. SC and computationally intelligent systems
        5. Hybrid Soft Computing Systems
        6. SC and Agents Technology
        7. SC and Internet – related problems
        8. Applications of SC and CW in System Analysis
        9. Applications of SC and CW in Decision Sciences
      10. SC and CW in control
      11. Advanced Neuro and Fuzzy Paradigms
      12. Evolutionary Computation
      13. Chaotic Behavior
      14. Applications of SC to Intelligent Manufacturing
      15. Applications of SC and CW in: economies, science, art, medicines,
    industrial

    engineering, ecology, financial engineering, business,e-commers.

    Submission of Papers

    Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (in English) up to 6 pages of
    their papers, including methodology, results and conclusions
    with supporting figures and tables. The abstract should also include the title
    of
    the proposed paper, keywords, author's names, affiliations,
    addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, e-mails and the name of the autor to
    be

    contacted for correspondence.
    Proposals for special sessions are also welcome.
    Researchers interested in organizing an invited session should contact the
    organizer
    to be included into the Time Schedule.
    Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.

    April 15, 2001 - Receipt of extended abstracts
    April 25, 2001 - Invited sessions proposal
    April 30, 2001 - Notification of acceptance
