    Dear NAFIPS members,

To introduce to you the journal "Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems"
we offer you as a member of NAFIPS the special subscription rate for this
journal of US$ 150 for two volumes of four issues a year.

Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, an international journal with the
purpose of: Applications in Engineering and Technology is to foster the
exchange and dissemination of applications and case studies in the areas of
fuzzy logic and intelligent systems among working professionals and
professionals in education and research, among a broad cross-section of
technical disciplines. It is the intent of this journal to expedite to the
maximum extent possible, given the overall constraints of quality and
currency, the dissemination of practical applications of the various
theories and methods developed in the fields of intelligent and fuzzy
systems. The journal will serve its audience by publishing both archival
articles and broader assessments of current trends. Articles will be subject
    to peer review.
The journal will publish original articles on current and potential
applications, case studies, and education in intelligent or fuzzy systems
for engineering and related technical fields. The journal has broad interest
in the disciplines of computer science, electrical engineering,
manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering,
mechanical engineering, civil engineering, engineering management, and all
related fields such as mathematics, medicine, operations research,
technology management, the hard and soft sciences, and technical legal
issues. Typical areas of interest might include, but not be limited to fuzzy
applications in: control theory and signal processing, neural network
applications, robotics and manufacturing, intelligent process control,
expert systems, computer security, image processing, damage assessment,
decision making, pattern recognition, cluster analysis, learning methods
    such as genetic algorithms.

Interested in receiving a copy of the journal please writes to IOS Press,
e-mail: market@iospress.nl <mailto:market@iospress.nl> and we will send you
    a sample copy.
Interested in the special subscription also write to market@iospress.nl
<mailto:market@iospress.nl> and you will receive every year your eight
copies of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems.

Looking forward to you sample requests and subscriptions,

    Yours sincerely,
